A very special practice comprising yin yoga (led by Annie Faichney), sow movement and yoga nidra (led by Anna Hodgart) accompanied by live music by Suzi Cool. This two hour extended practice will take place in the very special space at Reset Yoga and focus on the promotion of lightness, ease, healing that comes with conscious deep rest. Cocoon with yourself and be guided through slow movement and pranyama, yin yoga, and yoga nidra - the practice of psychic sleep. About the practice: Yin yoga is an asana based practice where we hold passive poses for time. Staying close to the ground and supported by props, we meld gravity and time to create release and space in the deepest tissues of our body. Yoga Nidra is a meditative practice where you invite the body to sleep as the mind stays aware and awake, with practice yoga nidra leads you into the fourth state of consciousness, the liminal space between dream and awake. Both practices invite the practitioner to tap into their parasympathetic nervous system, the state of rest, digest, restore and heal.
